Meet the Primes: South End Station Information & Networking Event

CATS is building a new South End Station on the LYNX Blue Line and we want you to be part of it!

Join the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), Stacy Witbeck, and Kimley-Horn for an exclusive opportunity to learn about subcontracting scopes, DBE goals, and upcoming opportunities related to the South End Station project.

Representatives from the City of Charlotte’s Small Business Program and the NCDOT-UCP Civil Rights/DBE Certification Unit (Divisions 10–14) will also be onsite to answer your questions about DBE/MWSBE certifications and how to participate in future projects.

This event is an excellent opportunity to connect with other small businesses and learn ways to get involved with CATS and other City of Charlotte contracting opportunities.

In addition to the South End Station project, learn about other upcoming CATS opportunities:

  • CATS Facilities Unit Paving and Repair Project

  • North Yard Storage Site Construction

  • Fare Zone Striping – Charlotte Transportation Center

  • New Bern Drainage Replacement Project

We encourage your participation as we work to create equitable contracting opportunities for certified DBEs and small businesses.
